Referrals

The Langley House Trust exists to help men and women who have offended or who are at risk of offending, to remain crime free, to reduce their dependence on harmful substances, to manage conditions which have a negative affect on their behaviour and to improve their potential in a range of areas so that they become welcome contributors in their communities. LHT is not just an accommodation provider. We are also a support and care provider. We provide services for men and women aged 18 or over.

All referrals to LHT are required to have the following minimum requirements of information- a completed LHT Referral Application Form, an up to date list of previous convictions, a complete and up to date OASys risk assessment and the most recent Pre Sentence Report or Parole Assessment Report. This requirement is supported by Probation Circular 07/2007 and LHT’s Service Level Agreement with the Ministry of Justice.
We welcome self referrals to our projects and services. If you wish to know more about what the Trust has to offer or wish to make a referral, but you are not sure which project/service to apply to, please ring staff in our Central Referrals Team on 01924 339413 and they will be pleased to help you.
Not every service will be suitable for your applicant. Services are varied in terms of their geographical location, the client group that they seek to serve, the staffing levels and security arrangements in place and the local referral arrangements/ exclusions in place with probation, police, mental health services and local communities. All project information leaflets can be accessed on the website. LHT’s National Referral Protocol and many of the local referral protocols can also be accessed in this way.
